Vivo is preparing to expand its S-series smartphone line-up in India with the launch of the Vivo S2 FE on October 6, 2026. The new smartphone is expected to arrive next to the Vivo V80 and will be available on Flipkart where a microsite for the device has been launched.
The Vivo S2 FE will be for users that want a large display as well as a high capacity battery and camera hardware. Even before it is unveiled, there are leaks and reports about its specifications and pricing. But the MRP should not necessarily be considered the final selling price. Vivo could announce introductory offers, discounts, bank promotions, or different pricing for various configurations when the phone officially goes on sale.
The company will state pricing and availability information for the product on October 6.
Vivo S2 FE May Feature 6.83-Inch 120Hz AMOLED Display
The display is expected to be one of the key highlights of the Vivo S2 FE. The smartphone could come in with a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, which is more resolution than the typical Full HD+ display.
The screen is also tipped to support a 120Hz refresh rate which should result in smoother scrolling and animations and gaming support. An AMOLED panel with high refresh rate is the best choice for users who consume a lot of video content on their smartphones.
Another thing that is reported is that the brightness can be up to 2,000 nits. If true it could help improve outdoor visibility but the actual brightness is more dependent on the display mode and usage.

MediaTek Dimensity Processor Could Power Vivo S2 FE
Under the hood, the Vivo S2 FE will likely be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G chipset. The processor has up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
The chipset would provide 5G connection with the processing power for everyday applications, multitasking, photography and entertainment. Vivo may have more than one memory and storage configuration but the company hasn't said yet.
The smartphone will also run Vivo's Android-based software experience, but the exact operating system version and software features are not yet officially announced.
The new 8GB RAM and 256GB storage could help users to use the higher-end version better for users who have lots of photos, videos, apps and files on their devices at hand.
Vivo S2 FE Camera Specifications
As expected, the Vivo S2 FE will have a dual-camera setup on the rear. The setup will be a 50MP primary camera and 2MP secondary sensor.
The main camera is expected to do most everyday photography, portraits, landscapes and low-light photography with the help of Vivo's image-processing software. The secondary sensor could be used for additional photography functions depending on its final implementation.

Probably the most important specification for the Vivo S2 FE is its battery. The smartphone is expected to have a big battery of 10,000mAh with 44W charging support.
If this capacity is verified, the Vivo S2 FE would have much higher battery capacity than many traditional smartphones. For those who tend to stream videos, play games, use navigation or spend long periods away from a charger, a big battery would be particularly useful.
However, battery capacity alone does not determine real-life battery life. Display brightness, refresh rate, processor efficiency, network conditions and software optimisation will also affect how long the phone lasts between charges.
The 44W charging support could help replenish the large battery, although the actual charging time will only become clear once the phone is officially launched and tested.

The smartphone would also feature an IP68 rating which would ensure dust and water protection under the certification. Vivo is yet to officially confirm all the protection details so buyers will need to wait for the company’s final specifications before purchasing it.
The vertically aligned camera module will complete the phone's overall design, giving it a modern look while separating it visually from some other Vivo models.

With its October 6 India launch expected, the Vivo S2 FE is looking like a smartphone of display quality, battery capacity and camera.
