Dhurandhar 2 Runtime Leaked: Ranveer Singh’s Sequel Nears 4 Hours

The director Aditya Dhar has reportedly secured a huge film runtime for his next espionage feature "Dhurandhar: The Revenge." Trade insiders and several reports released on 3 March 2026 have the flick running at an astounding 3 hours and 55 minutes (235 minutes), almost hitting the four-hour mark. If these reports come to pass, Dhurandhar 2 will have passed as the second-longest Hindi film to be made in the past 26 years behind J.P. Dutta’s LOC Kargil (4 hours 7 minutes) as well.

Why the Massive Length?

The first part of the series was already epic, at 3 hours 34 minutes, but it went global earning over ₹1,300 crore. According to high-level production associates at Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the sequel was conceived from a very large 7-hour shoot of footage block shot in parallel to the first part. Instead of pare-down important character arcs or action set pieces, Dhar chose to write a sprawling narrative that deepens the context around Hamza (Ranveer Singh) and his entrance into the lucrative scheme of Karachi’s Lyari district.

Key Details: Cast and Plot

The sequel has been recently granted an 'A' (Adults Only) certificate from the CBFC, promising an even grittier tone.

  • The Lead: Ranveer Singh portrays Hamza/Jaskirat in dual-shaded shades. Cast: One of India's leading talents, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan; Akshaye Khanna (through crucial flashbacks) as well as Sara Arjun.
  • The Stakes: Directly descended on 2025's blockbuster, this story follows the dismantling of a high-level terror network posing a threat to Indian sovereignty.

The Holi Trailer Mystery

While its trailer was slated to land today, March 3 (Holi), trade analyst Taran Adarsh said the makers have not yet confirmed a "Holi Digital Drop". But the hype is at a record level as the movie gears up for a movie “Titan-sized” clash. The March 19 Battlefront. Dhurandhar 2 is slated for release on March 19, 2026, with a triple-festival weekend of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid.

It takes on a direct head-to-head collision with Yash’s “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,” resulting in one of the largest box office clashes of Indian film history. Nonetheless, trade experts predict “earth-shattering” openings for a show, saying that contemporary audiences will be willing to endure nearly four hours worth of content if the story is as addictive to watch as the first part.
