Stable and Monitoring
Fans can breathe a sigh of relief as a spokesperson for the 34-year-old rapper confirmed that he is in stable condition.
"We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored," his representative added.
While the “Clout” rapper is “doing fine,” he remains under medical observation to get his full recovery from the shock and physical trauma of the incident, he said.
Police Investigation and Detentions
The Seminole Police were on-site almost instantly, containing the situation and securing the perimeter. During the initial sweep of the area, two individuals were detained for questioning.
Right now, police are not officially identifying these people as suspects and have not commented on any motive. The investigation is continuing, and the site is secure, and casino operations are continuing.
A Community in Shock
This comes at a particularly sensitive time for the Migos family. The rap world is still reeling from the tragic 2022 death of Offset’s cousin and groupmate Takeoff, who was fatally shot in Houston.
Social media has been flooded with prayers for Offset and his wife Cardi B. Just hours before the shooting, Cardi B had posted videos of their children having fun with an Easter egg hunt.
