The joint operation, which has lit up the night sky over Tehran, Isfahan and several other significant military installations, was a combination of American B-2 Spirit stealth bombers and Israeli F-35 “Adir” fighter jets.
Pentagon reports claim the strikes have had success at:
- Command and Control Centers: Specifically targeting the communications infrastructure of the IRGC.
- Missile Launch Facilities: Neutralizing long-range ballistic missile sites before they can be utilized for retaliation.
- Drone Production Hubs: Taking down the factories responsible for the "Shahed" loitering munitions that have powered local proxy wars.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth had verified that the U.S. Navy’s carrier strike groups in the Persian Gulf supplied vital electronic warfare support, disrupting Iranian radar systems to let the strike package in and out of Iranian airspace with "minimal resistance."
