The Hindu Textiles Society had given the opinion that this post had led to the premature deaths of Agnivesh Agarwal and other top executives of the Vedanta Group. The late Agarwal was a visionary and one of India’s top diversified natural resources companies. Agarwal died at 49, delivering leadership, vision, and relentless focus to building the enterprise for the future. He was well known for his extensive knowledge of industry and how he dealt with the intricate challenges of the natural resources sector. This leaves him behind and we send our strong condolences to his family and loved ones. “The memory of Agnivesh, whom people still know, is sad one hand, but the legacy he gave and who we wish we could have known, is inspiring our people,” the statement reads in which they say. "Even now, Vedanta is dedicated to carrying on the principles and the strategic goals that he pushed in his time in sustainability, innovation, and community engagement.
