The 27-year-old woman on Monday afternoon lost her life in a car-related tragedy when she was crossing Dr. Rajkumar Road in Rajajinagar. The victim, named Yogeshwari, worked for the HDFC Bank nearby.
Details of the Incident
The accident occurred near the HDFC Bank branch around 12:30 PM yesterday. Yogeshwari, a resident of Kempegowda Layout near Laggere, reportedly went out with her colleague to pick up lunch, police reported. Although the two coworkers were trying to cross the street to return to the bank, a decision from just seconds ago led to the fatal collision.
Her colleague saw a motorcycle that was approaching and stopped to allow it to pass. But Yogeshwari, thinking she had enough time to clear the lane, continued proceeding. A motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Deepan hit her hard enough.
