BESCOM Power Cut Schedule March 22–25: Check Affected Areas And Timings

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has officially announced scheduled power outages across several parts of Karnataka between March 22 and March 25 due to ongoing maintenance and infrastructure upgrade works.

According to the official notice, on March 22, power supply will be interrupted in multiple areas under the Chitradurga division. The outage will take place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM as maintenance and line upgrade activities are carried out. Several residential layouts and industrial areas will be affected during this period, leading to temporary disruption in electricity supply.

Meanwhile, from March 23 to March 25, extended power cuts will be implemented in parts of Kolar due to High Tension (HT) reconductoring works. The outages during these days will occur from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, affecting areas connected to Kasamballi feeders such as 2-02, 2-03, 25-04, 2-11, and F-12.

BESCOM officials have clarified that these scheduled outages are essential to strengthen power infrastructure, improve service reliability, and support future demand. Electricity supply will be restored immediately after the completion of the works.

Authorities have urged residents, businesses, IT companies, and industrial units to make necessary arrangements in advance to minimize inconvenience during the outage hours. Citizens are also advised to check detailed feeder-wise information on BESCOM’s official website and social media channels.

The announcement highlights the importance of planned maintenance in ensuring uninterrupted and efficient power supply in the long run, even though short-term disruptions may cause inconvenience.
