Students can now check their scores through the official CBSE result website as well as digital platforms like DigiLocker and UMANG.

According to the result statistics released by CBSE, girls once again outperformed boys in the Class 12 examinations. Female students recorded a higher pass percentage compared to male candidates, continuing the trend seen over the past several years in board examinations.

The CBSE Class 12 board exams were conducted earlier this year across India and at overseas examination centres. Lakhs of students from Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams appeared for the examinations, making it one of the country’s largest academic evaluation exercises.

Students can access their results by visiting the official CBSE portals and entering their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth. Due to heavy traffic immediately after the announcement, some websites may temporarily slow down, and students are advised to remain patient while checking their scores.

Along with individual results, CBSE also released important data including overall pass percentage, gender-wise performance, and regional statistics. However, continuing its policy from recent years, the board has avoided publishing an official merit list in order to reduce unhealthy academic pressure and competition among students.

The digitally signed marksheets, migration certificates, and pass certificates are available through DigiLocker and are considered officially valid documents for higher education admissions and verification purposes.

Education experts noted that this year’s pass percentage reflects stable academic performance despite increasing competition and evolving examination patterns. Many schools across the country celebrated the strong results, particularly the performance of girl students.

Students who are dissatisfied with their marks will have the option to apply for verification of marks, photocopies of answer sheets, and re-evaluation processes as per CBSE guidelines. The board is expected to release detailed schedules and procedures for these processes soon.

CBSE is also expected to conduct compartment examinations for students who could not clear one or more subjects. Dates and registration details for compartment exams will be announced separately.

Following the declaration of the Class 12 results, colleges and universities across India are expected to accelerate their admission processes for undergraduate courses. Students are now preparing for counselling sessions, entrance examinations, and college applications based on their board performance.

Teachers and parents have congratulated students for their hard work and resilience throughout the academic year. Social media platforms were flooded with congratulatory messages, celebrations, and emotional reactions from students after the results went live.

With an overall pass percentage of 85.20 percent and girls once again leading the performance charts, the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 marks another significant milestone for students preparing to take the next step in their academic and professional journeys.
