According to local sources, members of a pro-Kannada group confronted a few people late at night, claiming that residents had been facing disturbances and suspected anti-social activities in certain neighbourhoods. Activists reportedly told them to avoid causing trouble to locals and respect the peace of the area.

Witnesses said the activists emphasized that Karnataka is a land of diverse communities, but asked everyone living or working in the region to respect local laws, culture, and residents. The interaction reportedly involved strong warnings but did not escalate into a major clash.

Police sources indicated that no official complaint had been registered immediately after the incident. However, authorities are said to be monitoring the situation to ensure that no tensions develop between communities.

Devanahalli, located on the outskirts of Bengaluru, has witnessed rapid growth in recent years due to the expansion of the city and the presence of the Kempegowda International Airport nearby. The area has attracted people from various parts of India for work and business.

Community leaders have urged residents to resolve concerns through dialogue and legal channels rather than confrontations. They stressed that maintaining peace and mutual respect among people from different regions is essential for the city’s continued growth.

Local police have also appealed to the public to report any suspicious or anti-social activities directly to authorities so that appropriate action can be taken without creating unnecessary tensions.
