According to initial reports, the fire broke out behind Sakra Hospital in a cluster of temporary labour sheds. The flames quickly spread and engulfed two sheds, causing significant damage.
Local residents noticed thick smoke rising from the area and immediately alerted emergency services. Firefighters from the Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services rushed to the spot with two fire tenders to control the blaze.
Fire personnel worked intensely to bring the flames under control and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures.
