The Godavari river has crossed the danger mark in Bhadrachalam in Telangana and the state government has issued the third highest flood warning.
So far this past week the river's water level has risen to 55.30 feet, well above the danger level of 53 feet and there are fears of flooding in low-lying areas along the riverbanks.
