- Election Code of Conduct: With by-elections scheduled for the Davanagere South and Bagalkot Assembly constituencies on April 9, the Model Code of Conduct is currently in effect in several parts of the state. Typically, the Education Minister announces the results via a press conference. However, due to the code of conduct, the Minister requires explicit permission from the Election Commission to preside over the official announcement.

The 2nd PUC examinations were conducted across the state from February 28 to March 17, 2026. This year, a staggering 7,10,363 students appeared for the exams across the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams. Once the results are officially declared on the morning of April 9, students can access their scorecards online. To check the marks, follow these steps:
