The wait here at the moment is finally over for more than 7.10 lakh students across Karnataka. The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will announce the 2nd PUC (Class 12) Exam-1 results today, April 9, 2026.
The students’ individual scores and provisional marks memos will open at 3:00 PM, the official schedule says and students will be able to review and check their individual scores and provisional marks memos.
The Minister for School Education and Literacy, Madhu Bangarappa will facilitate a formal press conference following the digital release at 6:15 PM at the KSEAB office in Malleshwaram to unveil the state wide pass percentages, toppers' names and district-wise performance rankings.
How To Check Your Second Grade PUC Results
The board has had a number of organized sessions for smooth operation for the students. You can access the results by several means:
1. Official Website
The official site is the main source of all results. Students will need their Registration Number from hall tickets.

2. Mobile App and SMS/WhatsApp
Those with restricted internet connection have alternative digital options:
KarnatakaOne App– Results can be looked at through KarnatakaOne Mobile App.
SMS & WAT: The result alert will be sent to mobile numbers which have been registered in an examination application system.
3. DigiLocker (New Feature)
In a historic first for the state board, students can now download their official marksheets using DigiLocker. This document, which is applicable to college admissions, offers a more secure and paperless way to maintain academic records.
How to access: Sign into digilocker.gov.in employing your Aadhaar number and enter the Education tab to search for the KSEAB Class 12 marksheet.
Highlights of 2026 Results
- Total Candidates: 7,10,363 applicants registered for the exam between 28 February–17 March 2026.
- Stream Breakdown: The Science stream attracted the most students with 2.92 lakh students, while Commerce attracted 2.11 lakh people and Arts had 1.42 lakh students.
- Press conference: At 6:15 PM, the Minister Madhu Bangarappa will deliver a detailed analysis of the results performance of rural vs urban students, pass percentage by gender.
What’s Next for Students?
The online result may be only provisional, yet it’s enough to trigger undergraduate admissions. Students unsatisfied with their grades or failure points in any subject will have a look forward to Exam 2 (Improvement Exam) with the dates expected to be announced at this evening's press conference.
KSEAB informs parents and students that the website may have high traffic in the hours after 3 PM. If the site is slow, students should visit a few minutes later or use the SMS/DigiLocker options.
