A distressing incident has been reported from Atlam, Madhya Pradesh, where a 13-year-old national-level athlete attempted suicide by jumping from the third floor of his school building. The severe step was allegedly driven by continuous harassment and reprimand from the school principal over the trivial matter of bringing a mobile phone to school.

The young boy, who is an 8th-grade student and has represented India in national-level skating competitions, sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a local hospital.

Principal’s Severe Reprimand and Threats

The incident occurred after the school principal confronted the boy about having a mobile phone on the premises.

  • CCTV Footage Evidence: CCTV footage from the principal’s room reportedly captured the moments leading up to the attempt. The footage shows the student desperately pleading with the principal, apologizing for his mistake.
  • Threat of Suspension: Despite the student’s pleas, the principal allegedly severely abused the minor and threatened to suspend him from the school. The repetitive threats and intense verbal abuse are believed to have deeply traumatized the young national-level skater.

A Cry for Help

Overwhelmed by the humiliation and the harsh reaction from the school administration, the boy resorted to the extreme measure of jumping from the school's third floor.

Locals immediately rushed the critically injured student to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment for serious injuries.
