According to BMRCL, metro services between Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station Majestic and Mysuru Road Metro Station will be suspended from 7 am to 9 am.

Reason for Service Disruption

The temporary halt in services is for maintenance work between Vijayanagar Metro Station and Attiguppe Metro Station. The maintenance is necessary to maintain safety and smooth operation of metro service, the authorities said.

Services on Other Routes

Despite the disruption on this stretch, metro services on other sections of the Purple Line and the Green Line will continue to operate as normal. Trains will run normally from:

  • Challaghatta to Mysuru Road
  • Majestic to Whitefield (Kadugodi)
  • Madavara to Silk Institute
  • RV Road to Bommasandra

All services from terminal stations will begin at 7:00 AM as usual.

Normal Operations to Resume

BMRCL said metro services from Majestic to Mysuru Road will resume after 9:00 AM on Sunday. Passengers should be aware of the temporary changes and plan their trips as far as possible in order to minimize the inconvenience.

Advisory for Commuters

The metro authority has urged passengers to cooperate during the maintenance period and to consider alternate transport options to the affected stretch. Planning early and keeping track of your schedule can help avoid delays, especially for those who travel in the morning.

Regular maintenance activities are essential for commuter safety and efficient service, even though they might cause brief disruptions.
