BJP national president Nitin Nabin is scheduled to arrive in Meerut on September 21, 2026 as part of his two-day visit to western Uttar Pradesh. He will meet party workers, have a youth interaction programme and hold organisational discussions ahead of the next state elections in 2027.
Kashi Toll Plaza to Welcome BJP Chief
Nabin is expected to reach Meerut through Delhi–Meerut Expressway, and BJP leaders and workers will welcome him at the Kashi Toll Plaza, local reports say.
The BJP's western Uttar Pradesh organisation has made arrangements for a large welcome procession. The route is decorated, welcome arches and flower showers along the procession route as party workers prepare to receive the national president.
Hindustan also reports that Nabin’s Meerut programme begins with his arrival through the Delhi–Meerut Expressway and party workers will welcome him at Kashi Toll Plaza before he goes to Subharti University.
Bulldozers Become a Talking Point
Images and social media claims that bulldozers were positioned for the welcome have also drawn attention ahead of the visit. The visuals have led to discussion on the subject because bulldozers have become a familiar feature of such political events and public displays in Uttar Pradesh.
However, the local reports confirming Nabin's Meerut itinerary do not independently demonstrate that bulldozers were officially arranged as part of the welcome programme. Therefore, the bulldozer detail should be treated as a reported or visual claim unless an official BJP statement or another reliable source confirms it.

Youth and Organisation Programmes
Nabin is going to take part in a youth interaction and Shakti Kendra coordinators' conference at Subharti University once he gets to Meerut. The programmes will also be attended by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary.
The BJP national president is also expected to hold organisational meetings with leaders of the party and office-bearers during his stay. Local reports say the discussions will be held to strengthen the party organization and prepare for the upcoming political campaign in Uttar Pradesh.
Visit Continues in Saharanpur
Nabin's tour to western Uttar Pradesh will continue on September 22 when he will go to Saharanpur. His itinerary also shows a visit to the Augharnath Temple in Meerut before he leaves for Saharanpur.
The Meerut visit is in the midst of political parties preparing their organisational strategies ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election in 2027. So Nabin's meetings with party leaders and workers will be for organisational coordination and preparation at the grassroots level.
Until now, the only confirmed part of the story is Nabin’s September 21-22 visit to Meerut and Saharanpur and the welcome at Kashi Toll Plaza. The claim about bulldozers should be attributed to that and not to any other incident.
