A tragic incident in Mancherial district of Telangana claimed the lives of two people after they were electrocuted at a petrol pump. The accident occurred at an Indian Oil petrol pump in Madaripet, where a metal stand reportedly came into contact with a live high-voltage power line, resulting in a fatal electric shock.
According to local authorities, the incident took place when a stand installed at the petrol pump premises accidentally touched a main electricity supply line. The contact with the live wire electrified the metal structure, causing a powerful electric current to pass through it. Two individuals who were nearby at the time suffered severe electric shocks and collapsed on the spot.
