The Second Case of Seetharam is also next Kannada crime thriller, coming soon to a large audience via digital release. With Vijay Raghavendra starring in them, the movie opened in theatres on 20 Feb 2026, while a few weeks ahead its premiere in OTT. Its story follows Inspector Seetharam from Seetharam Benoy Case No.18 (Devi Prasad Shetty directing). Suspense, complexity, heart & soul investigative drama all work to wrap the next action up into one story in which the story takes the shape and character both professionally and personally within this hero's back pocket.
This series is built around an action packed investigation on murder in Anegadde, as a series of deadly killings reverberates around town and through society. And the murders look a little suspiciously serial, tracking and tracing their way toward a psychopathic killer.
Its all coalescing, when he tries to piece his life back together, Inspector Seetharam starts collating all of the disparate pieces of evidence about the crime and trying to figure out the causes of these murders. On the other hand, the main difference between Second Case of Seetharam is its two story. Beyond the focus of the main story, Seetharam’s troubled relationship with his estranged sister is the subject of the image.

That part of this complexity is also an emotional one that muddies the character and makes clear the clash between his job and personal unrest that can’t fully be resolved. Gopal Krishna Deshpande and Usha Bhandari cast members in the movie are one of the best supporting roles. It is produced by Flying Elephant Story Tellers, Devi Prasad Shetty and Sathwik Hebbar, alongside Pavan Wadeyar.
The film puts together a really smart team, technically, this is the best part of everything. Highlighted by Hemanth Acharya is a moody and intense atmosphere on screen, lighting and shooting as the film's emotional atmosphere through Shashank Narayana's editing work, and editing by Shashank Narayana. Navaneeth Sham's music contributes to the suspense of this film, and the music as well. Secondly, Second Case of Seetharam will be available in Amazon Prime, from April 17, 2026. The movie can be watched in several languages it is said that Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi will be available. The movie is there to watch in all these other tongues as well. And the audiences could go from around world when they come to India.
It is quite popular with Indians as well; even in places like Delhi, Mumbai and Ch Jal, South African audiences are able to experience this film. The OTT release also gives a new, emotional life to this season, for some people who didn’t come out into theaters. If its riveting tale is to pull off (its multi-perspective characters and compelling script), it might be able to draw in as many fans as anyone might from crime thrillers to investigative dramas, from anyone from The New York Times to the Boston Globe. As regional cinema expands to a broader audience digitally fueled Second Case of Seetharam is one more example of how stories making it to this big screen become new ones.
