The Shotgun 650 X Rough Crafts is the result of Royal Enfield working with the renowned Taiwanese custom motorcycle builder Winston Yeh, founder of Rough Crafts. The special edition is designed with Yeh's unique custom motorcycle design philosophy in mind and Royal Enfield's retro-modern style in mind.

Only 100 individually numbered motorcycles were made worldwide, making the model very rare. Only 25 units were made for Indian use. In fact, Royal Enfield said that more than 9,000 enthusiasts from around the world were interested in buying the motorcycle, which is an indication of the high demand for the limited-run edition.

Such a unique design was inspired by Rough Crafts

Based on the standard Shotgun 650, the Rough Crafts edition has several cosmetic changes that distinguish it from the regular model.

The motorcycle has a Gloss Jet Black and Matte Stealth Black paint scheme with hand-painted gold-leaf pinstripes. The dark finish is complemented by a cast brass Rough Crafts emblem and individually numbered fuel tank.

Other premium design elements include:

Black bar-end mirrors
Quilted leather seat
Contrast-cut alloy wheels
Gold-finished front forks

Custom-inspired styling cues throughout the motorcycle.

These things give the bike a premium look and Royal Enfield’s classic look.

Engine and Performance

The limited edition of Shotgun 650 is mechanically identical to the standard Shotgun 650.

Power is supplied from the trusted 648cc parallel-twin air/oil cooled engine, which has 47 hp and 52.3 Nm of peak torque. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch and a smooth gear shift and better rider comfort.

The 650cc twin-cylinder engine has enjoyed a lot of praise in the past for its smooth performance, good mid-range torque and comfortable highway cruising. It's one of Royal Enfield's best-known powertrains and provides a perfect balance of performance and daily use.

Royal Enfield's Expanding Portfolio

Royal Enfield has been steadily expanding its product line across various motorcycle segments. Recently, it has established its 650cc family with Bullet 650, Classic 650, and Shotgun 650, with the Guerrilla 450 roadster and Himalayan 450 adventure motorcycle being added to it.

The brand also entered the electric mobility space with the Flying Flea C6. Royal Enfield has, however, made it clear that its iconic internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycles will be at the heart of its product strategy.

The rave review for Shotgun 650 X Rough Crafts represents Royal Enfield's strong brand appeal and the high level of desire for exclusive, limited-edition motorcycles among the masses in India and around the world.
