ASUS Vivobook 2026 Series Debuts in India With AI Chips, OLED Displays and Up to 38-Hour Battery Life

ASUS has expanded its laptop portfolio in India with the launch of its 2026 Vivobook series, with AI-driven hardware, new designs, improved battery efficiency and multiple processor options. The new line has been placed in the premium mainstream laptop segment, with prices starting at ₹89,990 and going up to ₹1,79,990 depending on the model and configuration.

The new Vivobook series also puts more emphasis on personalisation with ASUS' “Your Vibe. Your Colour.” campaign. Along with the new internals, new colour options and lightweight all-metal designs are also made available on some models. The portfolio of laptops includes Intel Core Ultra, AMD Ryzen 7000 series and Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors, so consumers should choose one based on the performance and software requirements.

ASUS Vivobook 2026: Design Gets a Premium Makeover

On Windows 11, AI acceleration features such as background effects, automatic framing, eye-contact adjustments and Live Captions can be utilised. Local creative workloads like image enhancement and noise reduction can also benefit from AI processing.

To be sure, the presence of an NPU does not mean that every AI workload will run completely on the laptop. Generative AI and professional workloads may still require cloud services or dedicated graphics hardware.

Up to 38 Hours of Claimed Battery Life

Battery efficiency is also an area in which ASUS is addressing improvements. The Vivobook 14 Flip is rated for up to 38 hours of battery life, and the S14 Flip is rated for up to 30 hours under certain testing conditions.

The actual battery endurance will naturally vary depending on the screen brightness, applications (especially in graphics applications), and workload. Users who interact with everyday tasks like browsing, document editing, video calling and media consumption will see very different performance from laboratory benchmark figures.

Efficient processors and AI hardware are integrated together to reduce power consumption for appropriate workloads. This may make the new Vivobook models suitable for users who work away from a power outlet often.

Intel, AMD and Snapdragon Options

ASUS is giving consumers a lot of flexibility in its processor selection. Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors are available for users who want the traditional performance of x86 Windows applications and for desktop applications that are already available.

Qualcomm Snapdragon X-powered Vivobook models take a different approach with ARM-based architecture. These machines are designed for efficiency and could offer AI power with high battery life and longer battery life.

The new line-up starts with the entry-level Vivobook 16 at ₹89,990. The Vivobook S14 Flip with an OLED display is priced at ₹1,09,990. The high-end Intel-powered Vivobook 14 Flip is priced at ₹1,79,990.

ASUS is also offering a launch promotion that could appeal to buyers concerned about long-term ownership costs. For a two-year extended warranty and three years of accidental damage protection for just ₹99, customers can get what is advertised as the cheapest regular price, which is ₹5,599.
