The wait for Grand Theft Auto VI is nearly over. Rockstar Games is going to reveal on November 19, 2026 when GTA 6 officially arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. In the game, the fictional US state of Leonida and Vice City is the centre of the action.
The launch of GTA 6 in India is also significant for Indian players because it will be available from launch day onwards. PlayStation Store listings indicate that it will be available at midnight IST on November 19.
Rockstar also said pre-loading is going to start on November 12 so players can download the game before launch day.
GTA 6 Editions and Prices
Grand Theft Auto VI is going to have two versions: the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition (Worldwide: $79.99 and North America: $99.99). The Standard Edition will be available in India for Rs 5,999 and the Ultimate Edition for Rs 7,499.
The Standard Edition comes with the main game and the Ultimate Edition also includes additional in-game content related to Jason and Lucia's story. Players who buy the Standard Edition can also purchase the Ultimate Edition upgrade separately.
There is also a pre-order bonus. Digital and physical pre-orders include the Vintage Vice City Pack featuring a 1955 Vapid Stanier Sedan and Garage, outfits and hairstyles with a unique weapon pattern.
Digital pre-orders also include one month of GTA+ membership.
No Disc Inside the Physical Box
One big departure for Indian buyers is that the physical version will not have a game disc. Rockstar says the physical edition will contain a download code instead. Physical versions will support pre-loading from November 12.
Rockstar also confirmed that GTA 6 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no news of a PC version and release date yet so PC players will have to wait for further news from Rockstar.
The game follows Jason and Lucia as they get involved in a criminal conspiracy across Leonida. With Vice City back as the core setting, GTA 6 is expected to be a wider open-world game with a bigger world and a new storyline in there too.
