Smartphone maker Vivo has unveiled its latest flagship devices, the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, in the Indian market. With advanced cameras, powerful processors, and large batteries, the new models are positioned to compete with premium rivals from Samsung, Apple, and OnePlus.
Premium Design and Display:
The Vivo X300 features a 6.31‑inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by SCHOTT Xensation XT Core glass. The X300 Pro offers a larger 6.78‑inch BOE Q10+ LTPO AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and HDR certifications, delivering brighter colors and smoother visuals. Both phones are designed with sleek finishes to appeal to high‑end buyers.
Performance and Software:
Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, built on a 3nm process for faster performance and energy efficiency. The Pro model adds Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip, enhancing photo and video processing. Out of the box, the phones run on Android 16 with OriginOS 6, and Vivo has promised up to five years of major software updates, ensuring long‑term support.
Camera Innovation:
Photography is the highlight of the X300 series. The X300 comes with a 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra‑wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, along with a 50MP selfie camera. The X300 Pro uses a 50MP Sony LYT‑828 sensor as its primary camera, paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, a 50MP ultra‑wide lens, and the same 50MP front camera.
Both models are tuned with ZEISS optics, promising professional‑grade photography. The 200MP telephoto lens on the Pro is especially notable, offering detailed zoom shots that rival dedicated cameras.
Battery and Charging:
The X300 is equipped with a 6,040mAh battery, while the X300 Pro carries a larger 6,510mAh battery. Both support fast charging, allowing users to quickly power up their devices. Vivo says the large batteries are designed to last through heavy use, including gaming, streaming, and photography.
Pricing and Availability:
The Vivo X300 is priced at ₹75,999, while the X300 Pro comes in at ₹1,09,999. With these price points, Vivo is clearly targeting the premium segment of India’s smartphone market.
The launch of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro marks Vivo’s strongest push yet into the flagship category. With cutting‑edge cameras, powerful processors, and long battery life, the devices are aimed at users who want top‑tier technology. While the high price may limit their reach, the X300 series shows Vivo’s ambition to stand alongside the biggest names in the smartphone industry.
