Kannada stardom is best known as 'Abhinaya Chakravarthy' and he officially completed 30 years in the movie industry. The versatile actor writes a very moving long write-up on social media, thanking people who have turned a "boy with a fierce spirit" into an iconic figure across all India.
Three Decades of Evolution
Sudeep’s career started on January 31, 1996, when he took to the camera for the first time for the film Brahma (which still remained unreleased). While he officially debuted in 1997's Thayavva, he considers it his "birth" for cinema. From the cult classic Huchcha to the technical marvel Eega and a recent worldwide success with Max and Mark, Sudeep has transformed stardom on Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema.
A Letter "To Whom It May Concern " of "Infinite Gratitude"
Sudeep wrote a touching address thanking the many pillars of his almost 3-decade career as a tribute:
To the Fans: “You’re my steel, my energy source, my strength to keep coming back." To the Technicians: As much as anything, when he thanked the "unseen sweat" of light boys, spot boys, editors and art-project teams, he said cinema is pure teamwork. To its Fraternity: "To the Kannada movie fraternity - you gave identity, pride and a place to hang my hat on; I carry Kannada movies with me always." The Lesson of Humility: "If I learnt one thing from 30 years, that was humility: every success is borrowed. I assure you, I will keep working harder."
30 years. Infinite gratitude. 🎬❤️

Standing here after three decades in this crazy, beautiful film world, my heart is just… full. From a boy with dreams, doubts and wild hope to whatever this has become — it’s bigger than I ever imagined because of YOU.

The legacy of ‘Kichcha’
Sudeep's effect goes beyond the screen. As the long-time host of Bigg Boss Kannada having finished twelve seasons in 2026 and the captain Karnataka Bulldozers team in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) a household name within certain categories, it should not be surprise if any of us know what a huge and meaningful name he is.
Veterans from various industries and co-stars from all over the country, such as S.S. Rajamouli, Yash and Riteish Deshmukh, joined social media to congratulate the actor on his “Triple Decade” achievement.
What’s Next for the Superstar?
Now, fans are celebrating the OTT success of his most recent release Mark, which premiered at Disney+ Hotstar this month. Now the actor is gearing up for Billa Ranga Baashaa, which will be one of Kannada cinema's most expensive masterpieces (in this respect it’s probably one of the most expensive in film history), the other mega film set for Anoop Bhandari by the upcoming film star from the actor.
