The wedding extravaganza of South cinema’s most beloved couple, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, has officially begun at the luxurious ITC Mementos Ekaaya in Udaipur. On Monday, February 23, 2026, they presented fans whom fans affectionately called “VIROSH” with a peek behind the curtain of their celebrations before marriage.
The day started off as a wild poolside festival with Vijay playing a head-on pool volleyball match with his best buddies. On social media, silhouetted shots captured a languorous, animated time spent with the “groom’s squad” luxuriating in the Rajasthan sun before formal ceremonies.
When the evening ended, the atmosphere transitioned from playful to sophisticated with an intimate dinner set up by Rashmika. Glimpses of a dreamlike dining, with a warm golden ambience and blush pink lilies, green hydrangeas and fresh fruit, were shared by the bride-to-be. The table was customized with handmade green napkins embroidered with the "VIROSH" moniker as an extremely personal touch.
The evening's favourite dish was a custom Japanese cuisine, showing the couple's sophisticated worldwide palate. A private gathering for close friends which was in perfect accompaniment to traditional ceremonies such as Mehndi and Sangeet planned for the following days. The couple, who officially confirmed their relationship only days earlier by dedicating their wedding title to their fans, arrived in Udaipur on Monday morning in coordinated stylish outfits.
The wedding on February 26, to be a strictly private affair that will also hold close to 50 people in attendance, is hardly expected, yet the “Wedding of VIROSH” continues the excitement of its own trend globally. After the royal ceremony in Udaipur, celebrations will conclude with a lavish reception for the film fraternity and friends in Hyderabad on March 4.
