No Drones Allowed: Tight Security for Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Virosh’ Wedding in Udaipur

As the most awaited wedding of the year approaches, security at ITC Mementos Ekaaya has been converted into a virtual fortress. In observance of the wedding of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, which fans refer to as "The Wedding of Virosh", authorities and private security teams have ordered a strict "No Drone Zone" around the opulent hilltop venue.

As part of the privacy preservation of their ceremony, any unauthorized aerial activity will be met with immediate electronic countermeasures. The information on the ground will not let any leaked footage affect the couple's intimate milestone.

A Three-Tier Security Fortress

The degree of security for the nuptials on February 26, 2026, is unprecedented for a private celebrity affair. According to reports, the couple has implemented a three-tier security system comprising:

  • Global Protection: A specialized international security provider has been flown in to control the perimeter and internal safety.
  • Local Coordination: Rajasthan’s local security team is also cooperating with private teams brought in from Hyderabad.
  • Anti-Drone Technology: A suite of surveillance and jamming tech is deployed throughout Aravalli hills to keep paparazzi and fans at bay from drones aimed at capturing the "Virosh" union.

There’s the "No Phone" Policy and NDAs

Aside from the physical and aerial blockades, a strict no-phone policy is in place for all attendees. Guests — composed of an exclusive group of around 100 family members and friends — are asked, in many cases, to keep their devices at arm's length to create a real personal atmosphere. Even the professional photography and catering teams reportedly have a large series of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) signed, and vendors have pledged absolute silence around the décor, rituals, and guest list.

Seclusion in the Aravallis

The selection of ITC Mementos, located about 30 km outside Udaipur’s principal city, was intentional. Set atop a hill with 117 private villas, the resort provides natural seclusion that lake-facing heritage hotels cannot offer. Now that the pre-wedding festivities have begun on February 24, the couple plans to celebrate their journey which started back on the sets of Geetha Govindam without the glare of the press. As fans wait for the official “Virosh” photos, the couple has pledged to hold a grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4 that will feature guests with industry mates.
