“Rocking Star” Yash has officially returned. Today, the highly anticipated teaser for his upcoming venture Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups was released, at 9:35 AM on February 20, 2026, after four years since the earth-shattering success of KGF: Chapter 2.
The teaser has quickly sent social media into a tailspin, solidifying Yash’s transformation from the “Rocky Bhai” persona into something visceral and dangerous, and making it impossible to miss. In Toxic, directed by the acclaimed director Geetu Mohandas, the teaser of the film introduces Yash as Raya, one of the characters who is building an empire with a blood-soaked foundation in Goa's shadows.
Set predominantly during the time period from the 1940s through the 1970s, the teaser depicts a grimly "savage action-thriller saga" in which power is commandeered by fear and betrayal.
A Dark, Stylized Aesthetic
The teaser has a very different visual grammar from the gold-tinted dust of KGF. Blood-stained snow, gritty coastal crime syndicates and a haunting background score by Ravi Basrur give Toxic the sense of “fairy tale” as a far cry from the grim tale of Brothers Grimm. Yash appears a sculpted man with long hair and a piercing, brooding stare that indicates Raya is a central character plagued by profound moral ambiguity.
