Air Canada Express Plane Hits Fire Truck at LaGuardia, Several Injured

At LaGuardia Airport in U.S. an Air Canada Express plane crash struck airport fire trucks, where some people are believed to have been injured. From the runway collision in which some workers were injured as a result the ground threat and coordination issues at one of the nation's most busy airports have risen sharply, but an answer has not reached anyone quite yet.

The aircraft had been taxiing on the runway early on when it collided with the emergency vehicle, the report says. According to NBC News, the fire truck was in a separate call-up. However, when the aircraft met the vehicle, it had already begun to show damage of both the plane and the vehicle; an immediate emergency response occurred.

Injured individuals are confirmed among them the crew and staff on the fire truck said police. So far, no fatalities have been reported. Emergency services rushed to the scene to aid and transport their casualties to local hospitals.

The moment was described as “chaotic”, but for that time with loud noises and panic among airport staff and passengers and immediate alarm in them as they left. It has been posted online in which the aftermath of the crashing and local emergency workers respond well.

The Federal Aviation Administration has begun an investigation into and whether there is any communication or protocol failures. Airport operations were disrupted at the time of the accident with flights delayed or diverted a little bit.

These are rare cases, said safety experts, but underscore the need for a highly coordinated situation between ground vehicles and aircraft and especially at LaGuardia.

Another update will be needed as the investigation continues and authorities analyse the data from the aircraft and ground control.
