There has been a blaze at a high-rise building in Dehua, in Fujian which was particularly intense, sending residents on a high-rise high and causing a major fire-fighting crisis and generating a massive emergency in town. Flickers and thick smoke broke out in multiple parts of the site; they saw people trapped on the rooftop and the area and its buildings, eyewitnesses say.
Emergency services were on the way immediately and fire crews and rescue teams arrived. Under very tight time pressure on scene professionals fought to overcome the blaze and help evacuate those who were stuck on top of the building. Ladders, safety gear and coordinated response teams were all used to get these people down from there for good from the roof to escape those flames and the smoke on that top.
According to authorities, all those trapped were successfully moved and transported to the hospital to have a medical interview while others who were trapped were not, some of whom reported smoke inhalation and minor injuries but no deaths were reported, offering some relief.

The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation and electrical or structural deficiencies are under investigation in the building. Local authorities have started looking at the extent of structural damage to the site and the surrounding area.
This incident has brought to mind the importance of fire safety in high-rise structures, in terms of evacuation protocols, fire alarms (and emergency exits) being adequate. If we were to go to immediate response, they hadn’t been fast.
Officials say people are concerned and continue to move along the lines of safety measures and to keep an eye on all residents of housing complexes as many people take precautions to be cautious and to comply with safety regulations, especially in densely populated urban housing developments to help protect workers.
