Epstein Files: Bill Gates Denies "Absurd" Claim He Caught STD from Russian Girls

Following a revelation of Jeffrey Epstein’s private files on January 30, 2026, in an outragerent eruption, newly released emails have emerged that include outrageous unsupported and questionable accusations of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. The documents provided by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) have draft emails sent by Epstein where he alleges Gates was contracting a sexually transmitted disease (STD) and attempted to conceal it from his then-wife Melinda French Gates.

The Allegation of the “Russian Girls.”

The allegations are rooted in a series of self-addressed draft emails and notes created by Epstein on July 18, 2013. In these messages, Epstein seems to be attacking Gates for terminating their six-year union. In a journal-entry format, Epstein claimed he had helped Gates procure drugs--antibiotics, in particular--to "deal with the consequences of sex with Russian girls."

Gates also “implored” him to remove all emails about the infection and ordered that antibiotics be given “surreptitiously” so they could be “surreptitiously” given to Melinda Gates, Epstein said.

A “Frustrated” Defamation Attempt?

The Gates Foundation and the billionaire’s spokespeople have issued a bitter rebuke of the allegations, which they say were a fabrication by a man in need of leverage. “These allegations are ridiculous and entirely inaccurate,” a spokesman for Bill Gates told the Daily Mail. “All these documents can offer is Epstein’s frustration that he never got to know Gates, that he was willing to work hard to trap and defame.”

Legal experts have pointed out that the DOJ release consists of millions of pages of raw, unvetted investigative material, including what most apparently, of Epstein’s own self-serving papers. Namely, the DOJ said in the accompanying statement that adding one of their own names to the files does not indicate it verified wrongdoing or knew about Epstein’s criminal conduct.

Other High-Profile Mentions

The files also mention Elon Musk asking about a visit to a 2013 island and offer unsubstantiated FBI tips on President Donald Trump. Draft Indictments: A 56-page draft indictment from the mid-2000s indicates Florida prosecutors would have considered bringing charges against Epstein for 30 counts of sex trafficking, which was never tried then.

The Mila Antonova Case

It is not the first time Epstein has been associated either with Gates or Russian women. Around 2023 reports emerged that Epstein had sought to blackmail Gates by blackmailing him over an alleged connection with Mila Antonova, a Russian bridge player. Epstein was said to have paid for Antonova’s coding school tuition and then demanded that Gates pay him back after the billionaire boycotted his attempt to join a multibillion-dollar charitable fund Epstein had set up at JP Morgan. Gates has acknowledged that meeting Epstein was a “huge mistake” motivated by philanthropic motives, but he has also insisted that their relationship never went beyond those professional discussions.
