A town in Tadipatri, where Sodal Haji (or Sodal Haji) purchased goat head meat from a local vendor on Putluru Road took place. Talakaya curry, locally identified as Talakaya curry, is a local delicacy made use of goat head meat and is enjoyed by many people in the district.

Having been eager for preparing the dish Haji began at home to cook the meat at home. But despite multiple attempts, the meat remained extremely hard and uncooked. He attempted to cook it almost 20 times and then tried again and again some different ways for different reasons, but the result remained different, said Haji. The meat didn’t soften so he was upset and confused.

In the midst of all that he couldn’t be sure what went wrong, Haji took an extraordinary step. He brought the pressure cooker containing the stubborn meat to the local police station and filed complaints against the vendor.

The fact that police officials would even say that such a complaint was quite odd was initially taken aback. Nonetheless, they did not just roll their eyes at the report but rather to do something about the problem but instead worked to examine it very carefully. The case was now something that took people by surprise the place was not so cold; people, and of course people of the neighborhood gathered for the few people to witness the whole thing.

After discussing with the meat seller, Circle Inspector Anand Rao intervened to resolve the problem. The seller agreed on exchange of the bad meat with fresh edible mutton of the same quantity.

The matter was resolved from there, which provided Haji with peace and relief, which could have been one of the most unusual consumer complaints the police could have handled.

It quickly became popular on social media and users replied humorfully and disbelief. That may sound funny, but it also exposes critical issues behind food quality and consumers’ rights that can at a least make you chuckle, and a lot.
