Chakankar said her relationship with Kharat was purely “spiritual”. The trust was indeed over on a day of August 8 and she refused to take on any administrative or organizational responsibility now, according to a statement that was shared with me.
“The trust’s term ended on August 8. We had only had a spiritual relationship with Kharat,” Chakankar said, trying to dispel much speculation and speculation in political and cultural circles.
