A 13-year-old boy from Goudanapalya in Uttarahalli, Bengaluru, has gone missing for the last four days and his family is in distress. Subramanyapura Police have registered a missing person case and launched a search operation, but the boy’s location is unknown.
The missing boy was identified as Kishore, a resident of Goudanapalya. His parents say they have been searching day and night since he disappeared but have not received any information about his whereabouts.
The family said Kishore was interested in keeping aquarium fish. About two weeks ago, he brought home an aquarium fish. Nagendra advised him not to spend money unnecessarily and warned him not to buy such things. Kishore had left home for some time after the incident but was found in a few hours; his parents warned him and advised him not to leave home over such issues.
Kishore bought another aquarium fish on July 27 when he returned home from school. His father scolded him again after he noticed it. Kishore was then called to attend his tuition classes, while his father was off to work.
According to the complaint filed by the family, Kishore left the house on his bicycle at 5 p.m. that evening. When he didn't return home even after 10 p.m., his parents got worried and immediately began looking for him.
The family contacted relatives, friends, neighbours, and even visited his school to trace him. Even then, they were not able to get any information about where he was.
Lakshmi, Kishore's mother, then approached the Subramanyapura Police Station and filed a missing person complaint.
Police have launched an investigation and are checking CCTV footage from nearby roads and public places and checking information from friends and other possible leads. Officers are searching, but so far there is no breakthrough.
The family has been left devastated. Kishore's parents have appealed to the public to share any information that could help locate their son. They have called on anyone who saw the boy, knew him, and knows where he is to contact the nearest police station or contact Subramanyapura Police.
Police have said they are still looking into this and would like to tell the citizens in these areas not to spread unverified information on social media. At this point, they hope that he will be found at the earliest time, police said.
So anyone with credible information about the missing child is asked to contact the Subramanyapura Police or the nearest police station immediately.
