The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced a scheduled power cut for Sunday, January 11, 2026, to facilitate emergency maintenance work undertaken by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL).
The power cut will occur on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Central to the outage will be sections of the 66/11 kV Soladevanahalli Substation which serves as the transport service station for the Peenya 1st and 2nd lines, and the power cuts are expected to last 10 hours. The line would be limited to the two main grid stations in the urban or regional area.
