A verbal altercation between a delivery executive and a security guard at a private apartment complex in Bengaluru escalated into an act of obscenity, leading to a Non-Cognizable Report (NCR) being filed against the guard at the K.S. Layout Police Station.
The incident took place on Tuesday when the delivery boy visited the apartment to drop off an order. The dispute reportedly began over a parking issue.
Language Clash Escalates
According to reports, the delivery boy was speaking in Kannada, while the security guard, who is reportedly a Hindi speaker, was struggling with the language. The communication barrier quickly heightened the tension over the parking spot.
The confrontation took a serious turn when the security guard allegedly made an obscene hand gesture (showing the middle finger) at the delivery executive.
NCR Filed and Guard Absconds
- Complaint: A complaint was lodged by a member of a local organization on behalf of the delivery boy. The complaint demanded that the security guard be summoned and made to apologize for his indecent behavior.
- NCR Registered: The K.S. Layout Police registered an NCR (Non-Cognizable Report), which is filed for less serious offenses.
- Statements Recorded: The police subsequently called the delivery boy to the station to record his statement regarding the incident.
- Security Guard on the Run: However, when the police attempted to contact the security guard, it was found that he had absconded out of fear following the police action, and his current whereabouts are unknown.
The police are expected to track down the security guard to complete the investigation into the non-cognizable case.
