The young man opened the car’s sunroof, climbed onto the roof, and drank alcohol from a water bottle as the car continued to move at high speed; so dangerous was a person who does this out of recklessness to his own life and others in the car.

It was filmed by a woman who publicly aired the video on social media, but when she did so, she asked whether there was any police presence in the neighborhood or any police action on the outskirts of those apartments. She also asked the traffic police if they were monitoring such dangerous behavior on the city’s outskirts.

The viral video did not just receive a lot of attention but also many people’s sentiments on the total disregard for safety and the law. It’s not only illegal but it is so careless that it could cause an accident as dangerous as accidents on highways with high traffic.

We understand that traffic officers have seen the video evidence and will launch legal action against the individuals involved. The police can identify the people in the car and trace the young man using CCTV data provided by surveillance and registration information from the car.

They note that acts of reckless driving, performing stunts and drinking alcohol in their car, are illegal under traffic and public safety laws; therefore, they promote public reporting in a moving manner.

The present episode also underscores again the growing number of young people who are reckless and why we need road rules that are to stay safe and be enforced to avoid situations like this in the future.
