Bengaluru Waste Rules Enforcement: BWSSB Fines Convention Halls ₹1.65 Lakh for Violations

In Bangalore the people in charge of managing waste from Bangalore Solid Waste Management Limited went on an inspection tour of convention halls and kalyana mantapas in the Govindaraj Nagar area. They were looking for people who were not managing waste properly.

 People Who Break Rules Will Get In Trouble

The authorities found places that were not separating waste and were not following the rules of Solid Waste Management. They immediately fined these places because they want to make sure everyone follows the rules.

 These Convention Halls Got Fined:

  • Parvathi Convention Hall – ₹50,000
  • Padmavathi Convention Hall – ₹50,000
  • Jalaram Convention Hall – ₹25,000
  • Sujata Convention Hall – ₹25,000
  • Oswal Convention Hall – ₹15,000

 There Were 5 Cases

 The Total Fine Was: ₹1,65,000

 The Authorities Gave A Warning

The people in charge told all the function halls to separate waste and follow the rules of Solid Waste Management so that Bangalore remains clean and is a nice place to live.

This is part of a plan to keep Bangalore clean and to support national projects, like Swachh Bharat. Many leaders, including D. K. Shivakumar have said that people need to be more responsible and that the rules need to be enforced
