According to preliminary reports, the bus was transporting attendees who had participated in a government कार्यक्रम when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The bus is said to have overturned or collided with another vehicle, though the exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Local authorities and emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after the incident. Several injured passengers were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals, with some reported to be in critical condition. Rescue operations continued for hours as officials worked to pull victims from the wreckage.

Police officials stated that the accident may have been caused by overspeeding or driver fatigue, but a detailed probe has been initiated to determine the precise circumstances leading to the crash. The condition of the road and vehicle is also being examined.

The victims were reportedly returning after attending an event addressed by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. However, officials have not yet confirmed the total number of passengers on board at the time of the accident.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed deep grief over the incident and announced compensation for the families of the deceased, along with medical assistance for those injured. He also directed authorities to ensure the best possible treatment for survivors.

The incident has once again highlighted concerns over road safety and the need for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations, especially for passenger vehicles traveling long distances after large public gatherings.

Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
