The incident occurred near N.M.C Circle in the city, where activists noticed the Tamil Nadu-registered private bus carrying multiple provocative messages and visuals. The bus reportedly featured stickers such as “Live by a gun, die by a gun”, along with phrases like “Crime Lord Chronicles” and “Dawood – The Real Don.” The vehicle also had inscriptions referring to “D-Company of Mumbai,” further raising concerns among locals.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus had images and text portraying Dawood Ibrahim in a heroic manner, which triggered outrage among Hindu groups. They quickly intervened and staged a protest, demanding immediate action against the bus operator for promoting a figure associated with serious criminal activities.

Police officials soon arrived at the scene and shifted the bus to the vicinity of Basavanahalli Police Station for further investigation. Authorities are currently examining the nature of the content displayed on the vehicle and verifying ownership details.

Officials stated that appropriate legal action will be taken if any violations are found, particularly concerning public order and the promotion of unlawful or sensitive content. The situation was brought under control without any major escalation, though the incident has sparked debate over the misuse of public spaces for controversial messaging.

The घटना highlights how visual content on public vehicles can quickly become a flashpoint for unrest, especially when it involves sensitive figures linked to crime and national security.

Police have urged the public to maintain calm and assured that the matter will be handled as per the law.
