According to initial reports, the bus lost control and overturned on a crowded stretch of road. Eyewitnesses stated that the vehicle appeared to be moving at a high speed before the driver lost balance, leading to the accident. The impact of the crash was severe, leaving passengers trapped inside the overturned vehicle.

Emergency services, including police and rescue teams, rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information. Locals also stepped in to help pull out injured passengers from the wreckage before ambulances arrived. The injured were promptly shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment, where several are reported to be in critical condition.

Authorities have confirmed that at least two people lost their lives in the accident, while many others sustained injuries of varying severity. Doctors are closely monitoring the condition of the injured, and efforts are underway to provide necessary medical care.

The accident caused significant traffic congestion in and around Karol Bagh, with vehicles being diverted to alternate routes. Officials worked to clear the road and restore normal traffic movement as quickly as possible.

Preliminary investigations suggest that overspeeding or possible mechanical failure may have contributed to the accident, though the exact cause is yet to be confirmed. Police have launched a detailed probe and are also questioning the driver.

This incident once again raises concerns about road safety and adherence to traffic regulations in densely populated urban areas like Delhi. Authorities have urged drivers to exercise caution and ensure vehicle maintenance to prevent such tragedies.
