Preparations are in full swing at the Grand Steps of Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru for the swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka’s new Chief Minister, even before the official selection of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader.
With the state political climate in full swing, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president DK Shivakumar is expected to become the next Chief Minister of Karnataka. As the speculation takes off, noted astrologer and spiritual adviser Dwarakanath Guruji has said that he has suggested June 5, 6 and 7 as auspicious dates for Shivakumar’s oath-taking ceremony.
As Dwarakanath Guruji said, the “auspicious time has already been fixed”, and he had also suggested the timing for the Congress Legislature Party meeting on May 30.
“I have now set June 5, 6 and 7 as good dates for the oath-taking ceremony. By God’s blessing and divine grace, he has reached the Chief Minister’s position,” Guruji said.
‘I Had Predicted 136 Seats’
Dwarakanath Guruji also claimed that he had predicted Congress would win 136 seats in the Karnataka Assembly elections. According to him, he had conveyed this prediction during the 2023 political developments and had also spoken about the party’s Lok Sabha prospects earlier.
“DK Shivakumar worked hard as the party president while Siddaramaiah served as Chief Minister. Ideally, power should have been shared between both leaders. But DK Shivakumar’s opportunity came a little late,” he said.
Shivakumar had been in emotional distress in the past for years after he could not get power despite doing so much hard work, the astrologer said. He said he had reassured the Congress leader after studying his planetary positions.
“I told him not to fear. I had also told him to perform certain rituals and homas earlier. Even decades ago, during Bangarappa’s tenure, I had suggested that he accept any ministerial position offered to him. That phase turned out well for him,” Guruji said.
‘Budhaditya Yoga Indicates Leadership’
Guruji spoke about Shivakumar’s horoscope and said that the Congress leader has “Budhaditya Yoga,” which in astrology is considered a powerful combination associated with leadership and authority.
“If this yoga exists in a horoscope, it indicates the possibility of becoming a ruler or attaining a very high position,” he said.
Guruji also said he had predicted nearly 40 years ago that Shivakumar would one day become the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
‘The Road Ahead is Full of Challenges’
While Dwarakanath Guruji himself was confident about Shivakumar’s leadership ability, he also warned that the road ahead was not easy.
“The road ahead is full of thorns. A lot of developmental work has remained pending over the last three years. He must now focus strongly on Bengaluru’s development and overall progress of the state,” he said.
He also described DK Shivakumar as a leader who is very strong and determined.
“He has anger, but he has a very large heart,” Guruji said. “People don’t fully understand his capabilities. He has the strength to serve as a long-term Chief Minister,” he said.
Political activity in Karnataka has also picked up, and Congress leaders are in constant dialogue as to leadership transition and cabinet formation. The official announcement of the next Chief Minister will be made soon.
