The warning, delivered by the Department of Information and Public Relations, advises on keeping calm but alert and maintaining contact with official support channels. Bengaluru: Kannadigas are advised to call for help from local authorities to improve their coordination and security.

Advisory for Kannadigas
Officials are advising people to avoid unnecessary travel in areas of high risk and follow the local safety advice issued by the authorities in their respective countries. Karnataka state government also asked families in Karnataka with relatives over these areas to keep themselves informed on a routine basis and only be based on confirmed information.

The move demonstrates the Karnataka government’s interest in safeguarding the interests and safety of its diaspora amid global crises. Indian officials have assured that coordination with Indian embassies, the police, and other concerned agencies that necessary for prompt assistance, to help out wherever needed.
