A video from Jaipur, Rajasthan, has gone viral via social media, showing a foreign woman tourist who says the tourists there sexually harassed her (a group of young men) after getting harassed in Jaipur near the Jal Mahal. She felt she was in the presence of so many guys, they took pictures and touched her while she was feeling the least confident. Safety in India itself is concerned for these young people and youth; this kind of behavior in the future of foreigners abroad in India is not acceptable now.
The video shows several young men approaching the foreign woman, huddled around her in groups and taking pictures while they touched her. Rather than allowing her personal space, people put forward her as an object for the enjoyment of individuals. A woman looked uncomfortable, and the crowd remained. The video instantly got out there; Indians quickly felt upset and their citizens’ reactions damaged India’s reputation as a safe and warm country for tourists to travel abroad.
