A tragic road accident in Gorakhpur's Naharapur area has stoked anger among local residents after a teenager was killed after being struck by a dumper. It happened on Wednesday evening in the Gulriha police station area on 16th September and villagers set the vehicle on fire. Police arrived and initiated legal proceedings.
The victim was a teenager who was on his way to his coaching class near Naharapur by himself, according to reports. Local news has said he was a Class 9 student. The collision was so bad that the teenager died at the spot. Some reports said the dumper dragged the victim for a short distance after the collision before the vehicle broke down and the driver abandoned the vehicle.
The accident caused anger among people in the vicinity. The dumper caught fire and many people in the area gathered after the accident and set it on fire.
