A pre-wedding photoshoot turned violent in Hassan district after a clash broke out between two groups near a temple, leaving a photographer allegedly assaulted and tensions running high.
The incident occurred early in the morning at the Bettada Baireeshwara Temple in Sakleshpur taluk. A couple and their team had arrived at the scenic hilltop temple to conduct a pre-wedding shoot, a popular trend among young couples seeking picturesque locations for their photos.
However, the situation escalated when some local residents questioned the group about conducting the shoot at the religious site. Eyewitnesses said the locals objected to the activity, asking why such shoots were being carried out in the temple premises.
What began as a verbal exchange soon turned into a heated argument. The confrontation quickly spiraled out of control, with both sides engaging in a physical altercation. During the clash, the photographer was reportedly attacked, and chaos unfolded at the location.
