The grand launch of India Energy Week 2026 - one of the world’s largest energy summits held between January 27 & 30 - is slated for Goa. Opening of the event was done virtually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a speech to international delegates on India’s position on energy security, sustainable development, cooperation and integration in the energy sector to a global audience. Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, also provided a speech during this opening session to highlight India’s commitment to investment in clean, reliable, and future-ready energy solutions.

The summit has invited over 700 companies as well as representatives from more than 120 countries along with 75,000 energy professionals. India Energy Week 2026 has focused on bolstering energy security, opening new horizons of international investment and on practical, scalable means of decarbonization.
