A major tragedy unfolded in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district after a cruise boat reportedly capsized, leaving at least four people dead, while several others were rescued from the water. Rescue teams continued search operations at the accident site as authorities feared more passengers could still be missing.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred when the tourist cruise boat overturned during its journey in a water body near Jabalpur. Panic spread among passengers as the vessel suddenly lost balance and capsized, throwing several people into the water.
Residents and nearby boat operators immediately rushed to the spot and began rescue efforts even before emergency teams arrived. Police, district administration officials, and disaster response personnel later joined the operation to search for survivors.
