The Chittapur Police in Kalaburagi district of Karnataka has arrested two young burglary suspects and recovered stolen valuables of ₹1.55 lakh from the thieves that have been terrorising the community.
The suspects are Nagaraj Bhajantri (19) and Abhishek Madival (19) of Diggaon Village in Chittapur Taluk. Their ages suggest that they are still in their formative years, raising questions about the reasons for which they are committing crimes.
Police say the two young men had just broken into a house in their native village last night and stole three mobile phones and a gold chain, items that hold significant value. In this case, the Chittapur Police immediately launched an investigation to locate the men who are associated with this crime.
As the investigation proceeded, it became clear that the accused were not just involved in one theft. During their interrogation, the police discovered that both Nagaraj and Abhishek were involved in three separate theft cases. Police were able to find a lot of stolen property thanks to the police and the information gathered throughout the investigation. The recovered items are mobile phones and gold ornaments as well as other valuables which are estimated to be worth about ₹1.55 lakh.
