The long wait for over 7 lakh students who appeared for the Karnataka Pre-University Certificate (PUC) exams is finally coming to an end. The State Government has given “sweet news” by saying that the Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2026 will be declared tomorrow, Thursday, April 9, 2026.
State Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa confirmed the date, saying that such announcement was made by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) after various administrative and technical preparations have been completed.
Delayed Press Conference due to By-Elections
Although the results are due to be released on April 9, the date of the official press conference is influenced by local political developments. As two constituencies in the state are currently in by-elections, the Education Minister will address the media at that time and will give the result details at night when voting has finished, once results are released. The board’s technical preparation of the marksheets and the data to be uploaded and verified to ensure a smooth digital release has been made by the board.
Exam Background and Statistics
The 2nd PUC Exam-1 for 2026 was conducted from February 28 to March 17, 2026, at 1,217 exam centres in Karnataka. The evaluation was expedited this year to allow students to plan their higher education and competitive entrance exams more effectively.
Revaluation and Scanned Copies after results are declared. Students who find their marks unsatisfactory after the results are declared will be able to seek redressal in this area. The KSEAB will allow students to apply for revaluation and request scans of their answer scripts.
The application window for revaluation and retotaling will open shortly after the results are live.

Once the result link is activated on the official KSEAB and NIC portals, students can follow these steps to access their digital marks memo:
- Visit the official website karresults.nic.in then you can find the results.
- Locate the Link: On the homepage, click on the link titled “Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2026.”
- Login Credentials. There is a new login window.
- You need to enter your Registration Number as well as your Subject Combination (Science/Arts/Commerce).
- View results: Click the submit button and your marks memo will be displayed on the screen.
