Tomorrow is a historic date for over seven lakh students of Karnataka. Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa will announce the official 2nd PUC Result 2026 on April 9. As students typically stream to the official site, arriving at 3:00 PM, it is one of the first times which brings a major digital overhaul.
The state government has integrated the results for the first time into DigiLocker, enabling students to instantly have their official marks card on hand, even if the main servers crash due to heavy traffic.
Why DigiLocker and Go Digital
The days after the announcement of results are ruined by technical glitches every year. With lakhs of students, parents and teachers updating the official website at the same time, the servers are often unresponsive. The KSEAB has cooperated with the Central Government to remove this anxiety by making the Class XII Marksheet available at DigiLocker through its digital portal.
The new focus is on keeping students out of the process, where students won't have to spend a long time at a cyber center waiting while the page clicks along or put in hours to see it load. How to Get Your Marksheet Downloaded with DigiLocker

- One simple step is to get the App. Download the app for DigiLocker from Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Or go to the official digilocker.gov.in website. You can sign up using Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers.
- Step 2: Navigate to Education. Head to the “Document Categories” section on the homepage. Make sure you tap the “Education and Learning” tab. Filter the education boards and click on KSEAB (Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board).
- Step 3: Type in Your Credentials. Click on Class XII Marksheet or 2nd PUC Marksheet if you go ahead and select the board. You can then enter your Registration Number (Roll Number) and year of passing (2026). Ensure that the information is correct for your hall ticket.
