The wait is coming to an end for lakhs of students in Karnataka as KEA is going to announce the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2026 results on Saturday, June 6. The much-awaited results will help in deciding admission prospects of thousands of students who wish to pursue engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, veterinary sciences and other courses in the state.
Medical Education Minister Dr Sharan Prakash Patil, who is also KEA Chairman, will officially release the results at a press conference at 12 noon today. Senior officials like Khushbu Goel, Secretary of the Higher Education Department, and others will be present. The ranking, merit list and the next stage of admission will also be discussed in the briefings.
According to reports, more than 3.3 lakh students appeared in the UGCET 2026 examination by KEA. The entrance test was held at different exam centers in Karnataka from April 22 to April 24 in various examination centres. It is one of the most important gateways for admission into undergraduate professional courses in government, aided, and private institutions in the state.
Following the official announcement, students will be able to access their scorecards and rank details online through the KEA portals. The result link will be activated later in the day after the press conference, for candidates to download their rank cards and verify their performance.
How do you check UGCET 2026 results?
Students can check their results through the official KEA websites:

Candidates generally need their application number and other credentials to access their scorecards. After downloading the rank card, students are advised to carefully verify personal details, marks, category information and rank data to avoid complications during counselling.
The UGCET result is vitally important as it will guide eligibility and seat allocation in the counselling process. Engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, architecture and many other courses will be based mainly on the rank obtained in the entrance exam.
Students and parents in Karnataka are eagerly awaiting the results. Based on the results now announced, KEA will release detailed counselling schedules, seat matrix information, and admission guidelines in the coming weeks. Aspirants should keep all academic documents and regularly check the official KEA portals for further updates on the admission process.
